What Free money??!!

NTAFE has scholarships available for the costs of CPMM, CPE, and CPS certifications. Contact David Graham or Shane Noack on Officer’s list for applications. NTAFE plans to  award scholarships to deserving candidates for the purpose of CPE certification efforts by members. If you are interested contact the scholarship chairman, David Graham

The Dallas Fort Worth Chapter of AFE has scholarships available for the costs of Certified Plant Maintenance Manager (CPMM), Certified Plant Engineer (CPE), and Certified Plant Supervisor (CPS). Contact David Graham.

Scholarship Committees:

Advertising for NTAFE current scholarships will be included in the monthly news letter. Scholarship committee will complete the application form for presentation in the next news letter and the website. Following is the committee report and current plans for the North Texas Association of Facilities Engineers Chapter # 22.

Scholarship Program Details

Description of Scholarships

The North Texas Association of Facilities Engineers Chapter will provide a $1000 grant to qualified applicants for the Association of Facilities Engineers certifications.

These certifications are the Certified Plant Engineer (CPE), Certified Plant Supervisor (CPS), and the Certified Plant Maintenance Manager (CPMM).

Application for the award must be received from four months before the exam date up to two months AFTER the exam is taken. Notification of award will be made approximately three months after application is received. Only one award can be given to each candidate for a time period of two years. Those persons nominated by the scholarship committee after review of applications & approval by the board, will have payment made to the award winner(s) in the form of a check made out to the Association of Facilities Engineers to be applied to the cost of the exam and review course.

If the award winner’s employer pays some or all of the expenses of the exam and related costs, the employer should reduce its payment to the applicant by the amount of the Chapter award. Applicants must be up to date on their AFE dues AND be a member of Chapter #22 (NTAFE) for a minimum of 3 months.

Chapter board members and scholarship committee members are not eligible for the award.

Chapter 22, Scholarship Application Form

Purpose:

To encourage members to obtain distinguished certifications of Certified Plant Supervisor ( CPS ), Certified Plant Engineer ( CPE ), or Certified Plant Maintenance Manager (CPMM) through the Association of Facilities Engineers by awarding scholarships to further their preparation of and costs associated with taking the examinations.

Eligibility:
